“Launching a photography competition, in preparation for holding a photo exhibition, as part of the “Climate Justice in Northeastern Syria” project, which aims to support the achievement of climate justice and raise the awareness of local communities in northeastern Syria about climate change and its impact on their basic rights. The reception begins. Photographs taken by participants according to the following conditions: 📌Journalist photographers, professional photographers, and photography hobbyists in northeastern Syria are entitled to participate in the competition. 📌The sent images must show climate changes and their effects in the regions of northeastern Syria, especially on the most vulnerable groups such as women and children, or show environmentally friendly and destructive behaviors. 📌The images sent must be of good resolution, and not previously published in any media outlet or on any social media. 📌The two organizations encourage that the photos sent achieve gender balance. ✍️The photos sent will be subject to evaluation by a committee composed of photography specialists, from a technical standpoint, and from a photo editing standpoint for the purpose of the exhibition. A group of photos will be selected to be displayed in the exhibition.
